Programme Purpose
This Trainee Development Programme is designed to prepare candidates for future operational roles within the mine. Successful applicants will follow a structured training plan that provides hands-on experience and practical exposure in a real mining environment.
Minimum Requirements For The Ivanplats X5 Artisan Assistant Boilermaker Learner

Grade 12 (Matric) or an equivalent qualification

Successful completion of a Dover test to assess operator suitability
Advantages (Not compulsory but beneficial)

Up to 2 years of relevant work experience

Previous exposure to an engineering or mining environment

Any additional technical or vocational qualification above Grade 12
Important Information

The programme is aligned with specific operational roles within the mine.

Training will run for a maximum period of 90 days, during which trainees must demonstrate competence.

Permanent employment is not guaranteed — it will depend on performance, competency, and available opportunities.
