Key Responsibilities For The YES Learnership Field Technician
Installation: Configure and set up equipment according to company specifications.
Maintenance: Perform routine inspections, cleaning, and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
Repair & Troubleshooting: Diagnose malfunctions, identify root causes, and implement necessary repairs.
Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, explain technical issues, and provide service updates.
Documentation: Maintain accurate service reports, repair logs, and customer records.
Technical Expertise: Stay updated on the latest product features, specifications, and troubleshooting techniques.
Compliance: Follow safety protocols and industry regulations while working on-site.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Basic technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Physical ability to lift and maneuver equipment safely.
Proficiency with hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
High School (Matric) preferred.

Location: Brackenfell, Western Cape (City of Cape Town) – Must reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting.
