MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
- Minimum qualification of N2 is required or equivalent in Mechanical with a recognised Trade Test certificate as a Boilermaker. Preference will be given to candidates with qualifications higher than N3.
- Beneficial to have second trade such as Millwright Trade Test (Red Seal)
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
- Proficient computer literacy of MS Word, Outlook, MS Excel, SAP, QlikView and CURA.
- Communication skills- Able to communicate technical knowledge to others.
- Conflict management
- Fault detection skills.
- Interpersonal skills.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
- Preference will be given to candidates with 2-5 years steel construction knowledge, building techniques, design drawings, building and steelwork construction compliance.
- Preferably in a Smelter or similar environment.
- Focus on results through quality and safety awareness, managing work, planning, and organising, time management, decision making and customer focus.

- Interact effectively through communication at all levels, building relationships, negotiation and gaining commitment.
