The Early Career Trainee Field Engineer will be responsible for supporting the maintenance, troubleshooting, and servicing of medical equipment within the assigned region. Troubleshooting complex technical issues is a key part of the role. The candidate will perform system-level diagnostics on electronic and mechanical components, identifying and resolving multi-symptom problems efficiently.
Maintaining strong relationships with customers is essential. The role requires daily interaction with healthcare professionals to provide updates on equipment status, address concerns, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
The candidate will also support business growth by identifying potential sales opportunities during customer interactions and communicating these opportunities to the account team.
Administrative responsibilities include completing all required documentation accurately and on time. This includes ensuring that Field Modification Instructions (FMIs) and Preventative Maintenance Service (PMS) inspections are properly recorded.
The role also involves participating in equipment installations, particularly in complex or multifunctional environments. The candidate will contribute to sharing best practices and ensuring that installations meet required standards.
Maintaining compliance with quality systems and standards, including ISO 9001, is critical. The candidate must ensure that all work aligns with established quality and service policies.

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or Biomedical Engineering. This ensures that candidates have the necessary technical foundation for the role.
Experience as a Field Engineer working with ultrasound and X-ray medical equipment is preferred. Candidates with relevant exposure will have an advantage.
