Applicants are invited to apply for the Goldwave Construction Apprenticeship Programme 2026
The Millwright Apprenticeship Programme is designed to equip learners with both practical and theoretical training in mechanical and electrical systems. Over the course of the programme, you will work under the supervision of experienced artisans and technical experts who will guide your development.
You will be exposed to real working environments where machinery and equipment are installed, maintained, and repaired. This hands-on exposure is critical in helping you understand how industrial systems operate and how different components work together.
The programme focuses on developing core competencies such as problem-solving, technical analysis, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in demanding environments. You will also gain experience in reading technical drawings, understanding schematics, and applying engineering principles in real-world situations.
This apprenticeship is not only about gaining skills—it is about building discipline, responsibility, and the mindset required to succeed in a technical career.
Throughout the apprenticeship, you will develop a wide range of technical and workplace skills that are essential for becoming a qualified Millwright.

In addition, you will be trained in basic welding techniques and gain an understanding of fabrication processes. You will learn how to use tools and equipment safely, follow operational procedures, and comply with industry standards.
The programme will also focus on safety practices, ensuring that you understand and adhere to health and safety regulations at all times. This is a critical aspect of working in engineering and construction environments.
Beyond technical skills, you will develop soft skills such as communication, teamwork, time management, and attention to detail. These skills are essential for working effectively in a professional environment.
As a Millwright Apprentice, you will support daily operations and assist qualified artisans with various tasks.
Your responsibilities will include assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment. You will perform routine inspections, help identify faults, and support the troubleshooting process.
You will also be involved in ensuring that machinery operates efficiently and safely. This includes cleaning, adjusting, and maintaining equipment as required.
You will be expected to follow instructions carefully, adhere to safety procedures, and maintain a high level of accuracy in your work. Being proactive, reliable, and willing to learn will be key to your success.
In addition, you will participate in training sessions, complete assigned tasks, and continuously develop your technical knowledge and skills.
