We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to provide comprehensive electrical maintenance services for the Maltings plant, ensuring optimal production efficiency at minimal cost. Key Responsibilities for the AB InBev Electrician Artisan
1. Electrical Maintenance & High Voltage Operations
Provide electrical workshop services across the entire site.
Ensure the integrity and reliability of high-voltage systems, transformers, and switchgear.
Conduct repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
Operate and maintain workshop equipment to support plant operations.
2. Compliance & Safety Standards
Adhere to all safety, health, and environmental regulations.
Conduct safety inspections and audit maintenance practices.
Identify and address unsafe work practices.
Maintain clean and organized workspaces in compliance with safety protocols.
3. Technical Planning & Coordination
Locate plant equipment, spare parts, and relevant documentation.
Plan, prepare, and execute scheduled and emergency maintenance tasks.
Work closely with municipal electrical departments for planned work coordination.
Ensure zero rework and high customer satisfaction through efficient problem resolution.
4. Team Collaboration & Development
Communicate effectively within technical and production teams.
Contribute to team training and development initiatives.
Minimum Requirements
Education & Certification:
N6 Electrical Engineering Studies
Trade Test Qualification in Electrical Engineering
Wireman’s License (SANS10142)
Certified in High-Voltage Installations & Maintenance
Experience:
3–5 years experience in an FMCG/Maltings/Brewing/Utilities/Packaging maintenance environment
2–3 years leadership experience in technical mechanical/electrical maintenance
Strong expertise in Maltings, Brewing, and Utility Systems
