Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious individual to assist in the preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems at the Sishen Solar Facility. This position is ideal for someone with basic electrical knowledge and a strong interest in gaining hands-on experience in the renewable energy sector.

Key Responsibilities For The ACCIONA Technician Assistant

• Assist qualified electricians with routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on electrical systems

• Support in the safe operation and upkeep of solar facility equipment

• Perform general electrical duties as instructed, including basic troubleshooting and tool use

• Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety regulations on-site

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

• Operate safely on ladders and uneven surfaces as required

Minimum Requirements

• Basic training in the use of hand tools

• Basic understanding of electrical equipment (theoretical qualification is an advantage)

• Familiarity with Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) Act and safety regulations

• Physically fit and capable of working in outdoor weather conditions

• Comfortable working at heights or on ladders

• Valid Driver’s License (Essential)
