We are currently accepting applications for the Apprentice – Heavy Equipment Mechanic role. We encourage qualified candidates who meet the necessary requirements to apply. Requirements for the All Provinces Apprentice Program:
Grade 12 with Mathematics (Core), Physical Science, Engineering Graphics & Design (EGD), and Mechanical Technology
OR
N2 Qualification with Four Subjects:
Mathematics
Engineering Science
Diesel/Motor Trade Theory
Engineering Drawing / Industrial Electronics
OR
National Vocational Certificate (NCV) L4 ERD (Engineering Related Design) with seven subjects in Automotive Engineering.
Technical Assessment: Applicants must successfully pass a Technical Assessment, including Numeracy & Literacy evaluations.
Physical Fitness: Due to the physically demanding nature of the role, candidates must be in good physical health and ready to undergo a medical examination.
Driver’s License: A valid Code EB (08) driver’s license is required for the role.
Location Requirement: Applicants should be located within 50 km of the Bell Customer Service Centre for ease of access.
Additional Advantages for the Apprentice – Heavy Equipment Mechanic Role:
Prior experience in the engineering industry is beneficial but not mandatory.
Completion of basic hand skills training related to mechanical work.
Possession of a valid passport may be an advantage for certain job duties.
