We are offering exciting apprenticeship opportunities for candidates interested in Metal Mechanist and Mechanical Fitter fields. The successful applicants will undergo comprehensive theory and practical assessments while receiving hands-on training and experience. These apprenticeships are designed to prepare you for a successful career in the mechanical and metalworking industries.

Responsibilities and Duties 

  • Participate in both theory and practical assessments as part of the training program.

  • Carry out maintenance duties on mechanical systems and equipment.

  • Work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with other employees and crew members.

  • Be flexible and prepared to work irregular hours and overtime as required by operational needs.

  • Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of mechanical equipment and systems.

  • Apply safety standards and operational guidelines during all work activities.

  • Take part in trade test preparation for certification upon completion of the apprenticeship.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric certificate (Grade 12).

  • Minimum of N2 Trade-related qualification in either Metal Mechanist or Mechanical Fitter.

  • Strong professional demeanor with the ability to adapt to changing work environments.

  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise on the job.

  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage tasks efficiently.

  • Multi-tasking and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.

  • Must reside in Pretoria or be willing to relocate to the area.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining focus and productivity.
