Responsibilities and DutiesÂ

Participate in both theory and practical assessments as part of the training program.

Carry out maintenance duties on mechanical systems and equipment.

Work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with other employees and crew members.

Be flexible and prepared to work irregular hours and overtime as required by operational needs.

Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of mechanical equipment and systems.

Apply safety standards and operational guidelines during all work activities.

Take part in trade test preparation for certification upon completion of the apprenticeship.
Minimum Requirements:

Matric certificate (Grade 12).

Minimum of N2 Trade-related qualification in either Metal Mechanist or Mechanical Fitter.

Strong professional demeanor with the ability to adapt to changing work environments.

Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise on the job.

Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage tasks efficiently.

Multi-tasking and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.

Must reside in Pretoria or be willing to relocate to the area.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining focus and productivity.
