Key Outputs / Responsibilities:

Assist mechanics with moderate to complex maintenance and repair work on machines and components.

Identify and prepare the correct tools and equipment needed for each task.

Lift or move parts (up to 20kg) safely, using proper lifting and slinging equipment when required.

Clean and maintain workshop facilities, tools, and machinery.

Support artisans by obtaining and checking parts for specific jobs.

Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant workplace at all times.
Minimum Qualifications, Experience & Competencies:

Grade 12 (Matric)
-
Previous experience in a mechanical, engineering, or workshop environment advantageous

Ability to obtain forklift certification within 90 days of appointment

Ability to obtain overhead/jib crane certification within 90 days of appointment
-
Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision

Valid Code B driver’s license (advantageous)
