Key Responsibilities

Support Workshop Operations: Assist in daily workshop activities to ensure smooth and efficient processes.

Maintain Cleanliness & Safety: Clean, inspect, and disassemble components to uphold a safe, organized environment.

Perform Repairs: Learn and apply Standard Repair Times (SRTs) and technical procedures to carry out basic repairs and maintenance.

Documentation: Assist with accurate record-keeping, including work completed forms and time sheets.

Develop Technical Skills: Participate in training aligned with business needs to enhance technical knowledge and capabilities.

Tool & Equipment Care: Maintain tools and equipment for reliability and longevity.

Health & Safety Compliance: Follow Health, Safety & Environmental policies to maintain a safe workplace.
-
Proactive Reporting: Report issues or incidents to supervisors to support continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience

Education:
-
Matric (Grade 12) with Mathematics and Science.
-
Nated Certificates (N3–N6) in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (e.g., Diesel Trade Theory, Mechanotechnics, Power Machines).

OR NCV Level 4 qualification in Engineering from a TVET college.

Experience (advantageous): Exposure to mechanical or electrical maintenance, engine repairs, or technical workshop environments.

Requirements:

Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.

Knowledge of Cummins engines or similar mechanical systems (preferred).

Ability to use diagnostic equipment and follow repair procedures.

Valid driver’s license.
-
Willingness to work shifts and overtime as required.
