Grade 10 or equivalent qualification

Previous general work experience is advantageous

A valid driver’s license will be beneficial

Must have no criminal record

Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks

Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and public holidays

Comfortable working in all weather conditions
Key Responsibilities
As a Golf Course Maintenance Apprentice, you will be trained to perform a variety of golf course-related maintenance tasks, including:

Raking and maintaining bunkers

Grass cutting using walk-behind and ride-on equipment

Trimming verges, hedges, and other landscaping features
-
Rolling greens and performing general turf maintenance
-
Hand watering and executing cultural greenkeeping practices

Operating basic maintenance tools such as:

Weed eaters
-
Flymo mowers
-
Leaf blowers
-
Push mowers
-
-
Sod repair and landscape preparation
-
Any other reasonable tasks as requested by supervisors
