Grade 12 / Matric certificate.

Electrical Trade Test Certificate (essential).

3–5 years’ relevant experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

Knowledge of HACCP standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
-
Assemble, install, and repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems, and machinery.

Diagnose and resolve electrical faults using blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogues.

Perform routine preventive maintenance on machinery and building electrical systems to ensure efficient operation.

Maintain and repair all electrical equipment on-site and off-site.
-
Plan and execute repair work based on diagrams, drawings, and schematic layouts.

Inspect drives, motors, belts, and other mechanical components, carrying out corrective actions as required.

Measure and check used parts against specifications using calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments.

Record all maintenance and repair activities, including work performed and associated costs.

Safely use a wide range of tools, including hand tools, power tools, hoists, drills, wrenches, and precision electrical testing equipment.
