Key Duties & Responsibilities
Maintenance of Electrical Systems
-
Respond to requests for installations, repairs, and upgrades.

Assist with planned and reactive maintenance.

Perform installation work (trenching, chasing walls, conduit installation, cable pulling).

Fault finding on electrical systems and motors.
-
Ensure proper use and care of PPE, tools, and equipment.
-
Keep workshops, plantrooms, and substations clean, tidy, and secure.
Compliance & Safety
-
Adhere to the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
-
Store electrical parts and technical stock in line with regulations.
-
Stay updated with trade knowledge, regulations, and best practices.
-
Ensure all work complies with health, safety, hygiene, and environmental standards.
Stakeholder Engagement
-
Liaise with internal customers on electrical issues.
-
Work with contractors, suppliers, and management to ensure timely delivery.
-
Provide clear updates and feedback to supervisors.
Skills & Competencies For The Tsebo Group Semi Skilled Electricians x2

Knowledge of safe working procedures for electrical tools and systems.

Strong understanding of cabling, lighting, motors, and building management systems.

Ability to fault-find on single- and three-phase systems, motor starters, and electrical equipment.

Planning, time management, and organizational skills.

Health & safety compliance experience.
-
Attention to detail, teamwork, and customer-centric mindset.
Qualifications & Experience
-
Matric (Grade 12).
-
N3 qualification in Electrical Studies.
-
Minimum 3 years’ experience in electrical maintenance and repairs.
-
Practical knowledge of hardware tools, electrical equipment, and installation processes.
-
Physical stamina and ability to identify/report major repair needs.
