Available Apprenticeships

Artiflex provides specialized training in the following trades:

• Aircraft Mechanic – Learn how to inspect, maintain, and repair aircraft systems.
• Mechanical Fitter – Develop skills in assembling and maintaining mechanical systems.
• Aircraft Avionics – Gain expertise in aircraft electrical and electronic systems.
• Welder – Master welding techniques for industrial applications.
• Aircraft Structural Worker – Work on the construction and repair of aircraft structures.
• Electrician – Train in electrical installations and maintenance.
• Fitter and Turner – Develop machining and fitting skills for precision engineering.

Minimum Requirements

1. Engineering-Related Trades

• Education: Minimum Grade 9 (Grade 10-12 preferred).
• Technical Qualifications: N2-N6 in a related trade is advantageous.
• Benefits: Monthly stipend provided.
• Accommodation & Catering: Available for selected candidates.

2. Aircraft-Related Trades

• Duration: 3 years of comprehensive training.
• Citizenship: South African citizens between the ages of 18-35.
• Academic Requirements:
  • Mathematics – Minimum 60% pass.
  • Science and English – Minimum 50% pass.
