The purpose of this Automotive Sales Representative role is to drive sales, manage new and existing customers, and meet the required sales volumes to contribute to company growth. The ideal candidate will deliver outstanding customer service while promoting the dealership’s brand and services.
Key Responsibilities & Duties For The Automotive Sales Representative Job
- Actively market and promote the dealership brand and OEM products within the target market.
- Penetrate the vehicle sales market by applying organized, trained, and professional sales tactics.
- Maximize vehicle sales by identifying and targeting new customers while maintaining relationships with existing customers.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction levels are maintained, with adherence to dealership and OEM standards.
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets, focusing on unit sales and gross profit margins.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
- A minimum of 3 years automotive sales experience with a proven track record in vehicle sales (preferred).
- Valid driver’s license (unendorsed).
- OEM Sales Certification (preferred).
- Proven ability to maintain a Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) rating above the national average.
