Key Outputs / Responsibilities:

Successfully complete all theoretical training, practical modules, and skills assessments required for technician certification.

Accurately complete all required training documentation including logbooks, skills development records, and experience tracking.

Adhere strictly to occupational health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Maintain high housekeeping standards in work areas and workshop environments.

Ensure compliance with all Safety, Quality, and Operational Standards.

Demonstrate effective communication, professional conduct, and the ability to work in a team environment.

Meet all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and individual targets outlined in the balanced scorecard.
-
Take full ownership of self-management, development, and work performance.
-
Provide accurate reporting on completed tasks and maintenance activities.
-
Assist in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing Earthmoving Equipment.
-
Perform basic diagnostics and mechanical fault-finding on Heavy Earthmoving Machinery.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
-
Grade 12 / N3 with Pure Mathematics and Physical Science.
-
Grade 12 / N3 English with a minimum 50% pass rate.
-
N3/N4 with relevant technical theory (Motor, Diesel, or Electrical) is advantageous.
-
Completion of the Technician for the World (T4W) certificate is a strong advantage and must be completed before the start date.

Basic computer literacy is an added advantage.

Must be willing to work long hours, weekends, and overtime when required.
