Join our dynamic team as an Electrical Maintenance Technician, responsible for delivering timely and high-quality planned, preventative, and emergency maintenance on electrical equipment. Key Responsibilities for Bidvest Electrical Artisan Job Opportunity
Perform scheduled on-site maintenance and complete job cards according to client and company protocols.
Provide comprehensive maintenance services across the full hard FM spectrum, including electrical installations and minor building works.
Coordinate with the business control center to manage maintenance tasks, activate alarms, and ensure post-maintenance functionality.
Execute preventive maintenance schedules for electrical equipment, ensuring compliance with legislation, service-level agreements (SLAs), and job plans.
Identify and address potential electrical equipment issues to prevent operational disruptions.
Maintain high-quality work standards with timely task completion and continuous feedback to supervisors and clients.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
Matric (Senior Certificate) with N3-N6 in Electrical Engineering and Trade Test qualification.
Valid SA Driver’s License and Wireman’s License (3-Phase).
Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical maintenance, with hands-on expertise in air breakers and PLC systems.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and SAP.
