Key Responsibilities:

As an apprentice at Bosch, the successful candidate will:

  • Be mentored by qualified artisan trainers: Learn from experienced professionals who will guide you through various aspects of the trade, providing invaluable hands-on experience and imparting technical knowledge.

  • Take responsibility for the training logbook: You will be required to maintain your training logbook, ensuring that all tasks and progress are accurately recorded. This logbook will be assessed regularly by subject matter experts to track your development and learning.

  • Ensure effective housekeeping in the workplace: As part of your duties, you will be expected to maintain a clean and organized work environment. This includes keeping tools, equipment, and workstations tidy, which is crucial for safety and efficiency.

  • Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations: Safety is a top priority at Bosch. You will be expected to follow all health, safety, and environmental rules and regulations in the workplace, ensuring that you and your colleagues are working in a safe and compliant environment at all times.

Qualifications:

To be eligible for this apprenticeship, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Matric or Technical Matric (essential): A Grade 12 certificate or Technical Matric is a basic requirement for this apprenticeship.

  • Minimum N2-N6 qualification in Engineering: Candidates must have completed N2, N3, N4, N5, or N6 Engineering qualifications. The subjects should include Mathematics, Physical Science, Engineering Drawings, and Trade Theory. These subjects will form the foundational knowledge necessary for your apprenticeship.
