Key Responsibilities For the Bosch Group Plant Electrician Job Opportunity
Ensure compliance with South Africa’s SANS and OHSA electrical safety standards and regulations.
Maintain and enforce electrical safety protocols across the company.
Safeguard people and property from electrical hazards through strict safety measures.
Perform and document routine electrical safety inspections on portable appliances, machinery, fixed installations, and RCDs (Residual Current Devices).
Carry out regular electrical maintenance to uphold safety standards.
Install and maintain protective equipment, such as RCDs.
Develop and update electrical plant network schematics.
Manage electrical installations, repairs, and troubleshooting tasks.
Issue Certificates of Compliance (COC) for electrical safety.
Perform preventative maintenance and ensure all electrical documentation is up to date.
Qualifications & Requirements:
N6 Electrical Engineering qualification or equivalent.
Trade Certificate in Electrical Engineering.
Wireman’s License for 3-phase installations.
Registered and capable of issuing COC certifications.
