This is an exciting opportunity for young, driven individuals to gain hands-on experience and build a strong foundation in the engineering trade of their choice. The company will provide workplace experiential training, enabling apprentices to complete the practical component required for their qualification and trade certification.

Job Objective:

To participate in a structured apprenticeship programme designed to equip candidates with technical skills and workplace experience in accordance with industry standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work closely under the guidance of a qualified mentor or coach

• Become familiar with the plant layout and operational processes

• Assist in selecting and preparing appropriate tools, materials, and equipment

• Follow instructions from assigned artisans and support routine maintenance tasks

• Aid in identifying and resolving minor mechanical or electrical faults

• Contribute to engineering planning, system installation, and modifications of existing infrastructure

• Perform repairs and enhancements to ensure equipment operates at maximum efficiency

• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with occupational health and safety standards

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 with Mathematics and Physical Science

• Minimum of N3 Certificate or NCV Level 4 in a relevant field

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Willingness to learn, collaborate, and work in a hands-on technical environment
