Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) is offering Packaging Learnerships in various regions across the country. If you’re a young, talented individual looking to gain valuable skills in the food and beverage manufacturing industry, this is your chance!
The successful candidates will be part of an immersive training program, working closely with industry professionals and reporting directly to the Training Controller.
Key Purpose for Coca-Cola Unemployed Youth Learnership Program
This NQF Level 3 Learnership will provide learners with specialized training in food and beverage packaging, contributing to their career development in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry. By the end of the program, participants will have the opportunity to earn a National Certificate in Food and Beverage Packaging and gain hands-on experience in a real-world manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities & Learnership Overview
During the 12-month learnership program, candidates will gain experience in:
Bottling processes and procedures
Safety and housekeeping standards
Quality tests and specifications
Food handling practices
Participants will also be trained on industry compliance standards, preparing them for potential future employment in the beverage manufacturing sector.
Required Skills, Experience & Education
Minimum Qualifications:
Grade 12 / Matric certificate with:
Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy (40% pass rate or higher)
Science (50% pass rate or higher)
Two South African languages passed at 40% or higher
Must not have previously completed the same qualification or learnership at another company or institution.
Eligibility Criteria:
South African citizen
Employment Equity candidates preferred
Unemployed at the time of application
Between 18-35 years old
Willing to commit to the full 12-month learnership program
