To be eligible for the De Beers Engineering Learnerships, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements based on their chosen trade:

Additional Requirements for All Applicants:

Must be able to travel to the training centre outside the Limpopo province.

Must successfully obtain a Red Ticket (Medical Fitness certificate) for working on the mine.

Your application will be subject to a SAPS Criminal Record verification and qualification verification.

Applicants must complete psychometric and technical assessments.

Additional Information:

CV Submission: All applications must include the original certified proof of the minimum criteria (such as academic qualifications and a certified proof of residential address).

The successful applicants will be appointed on a section 18.2 four-year Learnership contract.

Formal training will be provided at De Beers’ accredited training Centre in Randfontein, with additional on-the-job training at Venetia Mine.

Applicants from the Labour sending areas of Venetia Mine (Musina, Blouberg, Alldays) and those from Limpopo Province will be prioritized for consideration.
