Key Responsibilities:

Work Site Preparation
Plan and prepare the work area, ensuring that all tools, materials, and equipment are ready for safe and efficient execution of electrical tasks. -
Installation & Wiring
Install, wire, and connect electrical equipment, lighting systems, panels, motors, and control systems according to electrical codes and safety standards. -
Testing & Inspection
Conduct electrical testing and inspections on equipment and installations to identify faults and ensure functionality and compliance with regulations. -
Commissioning Systems
Commission new electrical control systems and installations for handover or operational use, ensuring all components function correctly and safely. -
Maintenance & Repairs
Perform scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a range of electrical systems and control circuits.
Minimum Requirements:

Must be a South African Citizen

Resident of the Central Karoo District

Hold an Occupational Certificate: Electrical (NQF Level 1) or a relevant TVET equivalent with a pass in Pure Mathematics and Physical Science

Strong verbal and written communication skills in at least two official languages of the Western Cape

A passion for electrical systems and problem-solving
