We are seeking a highly motivated Process Operator to join our team on a 2–3 year contract. This role requires technical skills, attention to safety, and a strong understanding of equipment operations. Key Responsibilities for the Enaex 2025 Engineering Learnership
As a Process Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of plant equipment while maintaining high safety and quality standards. Your duties will include:
Conducting basic first-line fault finding on mechanical and electrical equipment.
Applying Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with operational guidelines.
Identifying and reporting equipment failures, defects, and abnormalities.
Demonstrating a strong understanding of equipment functions and performance.
Performing quality assurance checks to maintain high production standards.
Carrying out plant inspections and logging operational data.
Reporting unsafe conditions and at-risk behaviors to the SPC, Process Artisan, or Foreman.
Performing sampling procedures as per the scheduled production plan.
Ensuring strict adherence to housekeeping standards to maintain a safe working environment.
Minimum Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following qualification and experience criteria:
Matric (Grade 12) with Mathematics & Science.
Must pass a pre-employment medical examination.
Must successfully complete a physical fitness assessment, as part of the normal selection process.
Valid driver’s license is required.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong problem-solving skills for fault diagnosis and troubleshooting.
