Introduction: We are seeking a qualified Boilermaker to join our team at the Kroondal Operations site in Rustenburg. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals looking to contribute to the safe and efficient operation of a production plant.
Job Description: The Boilermaker’s primary role will be to continuously monitor all process parameters to ensure the safe and effective operation of the production plant in alignment with operational procedures and standards.
Key Responsibilities For The Engineering Artisan Boilermaker Job Opportunity
Perform trade-related maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery according to company standards and specifications.
Conduct daily inspections in compliance with the Mine Health and Safety Act regulations and report defects and breakdowns to the Supervisor.
Design, modify, construct, and install trade-specific equipment to ensure safe operation.
Ensure that all installations and equipment are operational and safe after task completion.
Monitor equipment efficiency and failures, aiming to enhance equipment and system performance.
Collaborate with production teams on maintenance activities impacting production.
Support the achievement of engineering availability and optimize production performance.
Accurately record and report maintenance-related information to the planning office for the asset maintenance system.
Qualifications:
Grade 12 or equivalent.
Valid Section 13 Trade Test or Section 26(D) certificate.
Valid driver’s license (Code B, EB, or C1).
Own transport for attending call-outs.
Experience and Skills:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Boilermaker in a mineral processing plant.
Proficiency in English.
Strong time management skills.
Experience in vibrating screen assembly and Huckbolting.
