Engineering Learnership Opportunities Available
We are offering learnerships in various engineering disciplines. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to enrol in an external Unemployed (18.2 B1) Learnership Program, which will lead to a qualification as a qualified Artisan. Positions available include:
- Learnership Fitters (8 positions)
- Learnership Riggers (4 positions)
- Learnership Electricians (4 positions)
- Learnership Diesel Mechanics (2 positions)
- Learnership Boilermakers (6 positions)
Minimum Entry Requirements
To be considered for the learnership program, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Matric with Mathematics (not Mathematics Literacy), Physical Science, and English (each with a minimum of 40% pass), or
- N2 or higher with all subjects as per the specific discipline requirements, or
- NCV Level 4 in an appropriate trade with all subjects passed with a minimum of 40%.
Additional Trade Test Requirements:
- N2 Subjects/certificate with applicable subjects for the relevant trade, including:
- Mathematics
- Engineering Science
- Relevant Trade Theory
- Industrial Electronics, Engineering Drawings, or Plating Structural Drawings
- NCV Level 4 in the relevant trade with all subjects passed with a minimum of 40%.
How to Apply
To apply for the Engineering Learnership program, submit your full CV, certified copies of your ID and relevant qualifications, along with proof of residence (for host community applicants). CVs that do not meet the required standards or fail to include the necessary documents will not be considered.
