 Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this exciting artisan electrician opportunity, you must meet the following criteria:

• Trade Certificate in Electrical or related discipline (Red Seal preferred)

• Proven practical training in electrical maintenance or industrial plant operations

• Valid Driver’s License (Code 08)

• Basic computer literacy

 Key Responsibilities For The Eskom Artisan Electrical Heavy Current

As an Electrical Artisan, you will be expected to:

• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and components

• Adhere strictly to safety standards and protocols

• Carry out occupational health and safety inspections as required

• Maintain and care for tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment

• Participate actively in team technical meetings and safety briefings

• Support operational uptime by identifying and addressing potential faults before breakdowns occur

• Complete job cards and maintenance documentation accurately and on time

• Respond to faults and maintenance requests as per priority
