Job Description:
FNB is looking for a dedicated and versatile Handyman to join our Facilities and Maintenance team. This role is essential in ensuring that our premises are well-maintained, safe, and functional. Key Responsibilities:

General Repairs: Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks such as drywall patching, carpentry, door repairs, minor plumbing, and fixing fixtures.

Preventative Maintenance: Carry out regular inspections of facilities, including painting, floor checks, and equipment upkeep.

Installation Work: Build and install cabinets, closets, countertops, shelving, and other wooden structures.

Problem Solving: Diagnose and resolve building maintenance issues swiftly and effectively.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and organizational policies. Ensure proper storage and usage of tools and materials.

Reporting and Coordination: Communicate with internal teams and management to report maintenance issues, status updates, and material requirements.

Computer Literacy: Basic proficiency in MS Office and ability to work with building maintenance applications.
Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12 / Matric certificate (A recognized Handyman certificate/course is an added advantage)

At least 1–2 years of experience in general building maintenance or repairs

Sound understanding of health and safety regulations

Good communication and time-management skills

Physically fit and capable of performing hands-on maintenance tasks
