Role Summary
As an In-Service Trainee in the Continuous Improvement function, you will play a supporting role in optimizing processes and enhancing productivity across production, engineering, and operations departments. The program includes a combination of on-the-job training and structured learning experiences, such as workshops, team shadowing, and operational support tasks.
You will contribute to Givaudan’s Continuous Improvement (CI) maturity model by:

Participating in root cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives

Assisting with the documentation of standard operating procedures and CI tools

Supporting performance tracking and process improvement initiatives

Attending project meetings, safety talks, and internal workshops

Shadowing experienced staff across functions to gain cross-functional exposure
Minimum Requirements for the Givaudan Engineering Learnership Programme

Grade 12 / Matric certificate
-
Currently enrolled in or recently completed a qualification in Engineering, Management, or Science & Technology

This opportunity is intended only for students who require workplace experience to obtain their formal qualification

Must have no previous formal work experience
