Key Responsibilities Of the Glencore Engineering Learnership Opportunity

Participants in the Glencore Engineering Learnership will:

 

Enter a formal learnership agreement with the Mining Qualifications Authority (MQA).

Complete both theoretical and practical trade modules at the Glencore Training Centre.

Participate in on-the-job training (OJT) to gain practical industry experience.

Complete all phases of the learnership programme within the specified time frame.

Undergo workplace readiness assessments and technical panel evaluations.

Attend Basic and Advanced Engineering Skills Courses to enhance their competencies.

Assist senior Artisans with basic engineering tasks during practical exposure stages.

Minimum Requirements for the Glencore Engineering Learnership

To qualify for this learnership opportunity, applicants must meet the following criteria:

 

Hold an N2 qualification with relevant trade theory (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Fitting, Boilermaking, or Instrumentation).

Be currently unemployed and available for the full duration of the learnership programme.
