We are looking for a qualified and proactive Millwright to join our dynamic maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be a technically skilled individual with both electrical and mechanical expertise, committed to maintaining and improving plant performance. This role is critical to ensuring smooth operations by preventing equipment failures and minimizing downtime, while also identifying opportunities for process improvements.
Key Responsibilities

Perform routine and scheduled preventative maintenance on a wide range of plant machinery and equipment.

Diagnose and repair breakdowns, ensuring fast and effective restoration of production processes.

Support new electrical and mechanical installations, upgrades, and project work.

Assist with maintenance on boilers, refrigeration systems, and plant utility equipment.

Conduct equipment inspections and complete detailed reports, adhering to company maintenance protocols.

Carry out root cause analysis on equipment failures to prevent recurrence.

Recommend and implement improvement initiatives, contributing to increased operational efficiency.

Actively participate in the 20 Keys continuous improvement system and promote a culture of proactive maintenance.
Minimum Requirements

Minimum N2 Certificate in a relevant trade.

Recognized Trade Certificate as a Millwright (Red Seal or equivalent).

Computer literate, with the ability to complete maintenance logs, reports, and system entries.

Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.

Must have reliable own transport.
