Minimum Requirements for the Idwala Industrial Holdings Apprentice Program
-
Matric / Grade 12 with a minimum of 40% in Mathematics and English
Physical Science will be an added advantage
-
N2 Certificate with at least 4 to 5 relevant subjects per discipline requirement
-
OR National Certificate Vocational (NCV) Level 4 in an appropriate trade
-
Age: Between 18 and 35 years
-
Must be unemployed and available for the duration of the learnership

Must be a South African citizen
-
Must be medically fit to work in a mining or heavy industrial environment (as per MHSA 29 of 1996)

Preference will be given to candidates residing in Port Shepstone or surrounding areas
Key Learnership Responsibilities:

Willingness to work in a mining and heavy industrial setting

Ability to work shifts and adhere to safety standards

Be committed to completing both the theoretical and practical components of the programme

Participate in training, assessments, and on-the-job mentoring as per the trade requirements
