This pioneering project will utilize cutting-edge mechanized underground mining technology to establish a true “Mine of the Future.”
We are seeking qualified and experienced Diesel Mechanics to support the ongoing project development and maintain the integrity of our modern Trackless Mobile Machinery (TMM) fleet.
Minimum Qualifications & Skills

Grade 12 / Matric or NQF Level 4 equivalent

Relevant and recognized Diesel Mechanic Trade Certificate

Valid First Aid Certificate
-
Valid Driver’s License
-
Proven ability to interpret repair procedures and technical documentation

Strong commitment to safety, housekeeping, and operational discipline
Experience Requirements

Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience working on Trackless Mobile Machinery (TMM) within an underground mining environment

Solid knowledge of diesel engines, generators, hydraulics, and mechanical fault-finding

Familiarity with preventive maintenance systems and safe work practices
Key Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on diesel-powered mobile equipment

Conduct pre-use inspections and ensure equipment is operating within safe and optimal parameters

Replace and test mechanical components; troubleshoot and resolve faults

Strictly adhere to repair protocols, maintenance standards, and safety procedures
-
Maintain a clean, orderly, and hazard-free work environment according to international best practices

Complete and submit all relevant documentation, including repair logs, service reports, and inspection checklists

Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to reduce downtime and enhance productivity

Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained, safe, and available for use
