 About the Apprenticeship

Trade Areas: Motor Mechanic / Diesel Mechanic / Automotive Electrician

Duration: 3 Years

Training Method: Blended Learning (Theoretical, Practical & Workplace Training)

Certification: Nationally Recognised Trade Qualification upon successful completion
 Key Responsibilities
-
Assist qualified technicians in conducting vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and scheduled maintenance

Participate in technical training sessions and practical assessments

Keep the workshop clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards

Learn to use specialised automotive tools and electronic diagnostic equipment
 Minimum Requirements For The 3 Years Apprentice Program at Motus

Education:
-
Grade 10 or Grade 12 with Pure Mathematics and Physical Science/Physics

OR an equivalent Technical Qualification (such as N2 or NCV Level 4 in Motor or Diesel Trade Theory)

Driver’s License: Preferred but not mandatory

Aptitude: All candidates will undergo a technical aptitude assessment to evaluate suitability

Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems

Strong communication skills and willingness to learn

Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a team player

Good problem-solving ability and technical aptitude
