Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Technical Training:

Attend classroom sessions on engineering theory and safety

Learn to operate hand tools, power tools, and instruments

Understand mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic principles
Practical Work Experience:

Assist with equipment maintenance, installation, and repairs
-
Conduct machine inspections and troubleshoot under supervision

Shadow experienced technicians or engineers
Workshop & Site Activities:

Follow standard operating procedures in workshop and production environments

Keep workstations clean and safe
-
Support in assembling, fabricating, or testing mechanical parts
Safety & Compliance:

Follow health, safety, and environmental regulations
-
Use PPE and report hazards or incidents

Practice workplace safety procedures
Learning & Development:

Complete assignments, assessments, and daily logbook entries

Participate in training reviews and performance evaluations
