Overview
Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) is offering an exciting Apprenticeship Programme for young, enthusiastic South Africans between the ages of 18 and 34. This 3-year programme is designed to develop technical skills and competencies in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering within an aviation environment.
Apprentices will receive hands-on experience and formal training aligned with SETA-accredited learning programmes, preparing them for artisan roles in a dynamic industry.
Programme Structure

70% Practical Training: Conducted at relevant ACSA departments in a real-world aviation setting.

30% Theoretical Training: Conducted at an accredited training centre.

Mentorship: Each apprentice will be paired with a mentor to provide guidance and support throughout the programme.

Stipend: A monthly stipend will be provided for the duration of the programme.
Minimum Requirements For The ACSA 2026 Engineering Apprentice ProgramÂ

South African citizen
-
Age between 18 and 34 years

National Technical Diploma (N6) in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electro-Mechanical Engineering

Unemployed
-
Physically fit and able to work in a technical environment
