This programme combines accredited theoretical learning with hands-on workplace experience, allowing learners to gain a nationally recognised qualification while working in a real business environment.

This is a structured work-based learning programme that includes:
Accredited theoretical training through an approved training provider
Practical workplace experience at AVBOB branches
Exposure to real insurance operations
Development of client service and administrative skills
Training aligned to a registered NQF Level 4 qualification
The programme carries 140 credits and is nationally recognised within the financial services and insurance sector.
Learners will be required to complete both the classroom-based learning and the workplace practical component in order to successfully achieve the qualification.
A monthly stipend will be paid for the full duration of the 12-month learnership.
Please note: Placement at a branch or province will be determined by the company based on operational requirements.

To qualify for this learnership opportunity, applicants must:
Be a South African citizen
Be between the ages of 18 and 35
Be currently unemployed
Be in possession of a valid Matric certificate
Have completed English and Mathematics / Mathematical Literacy / Accounting in Matric
Not have participated in any previous learnership programme
Not be registered at any academic institution or engaged in other studies
Be willing to work at any AVBOB branch within the listed provinces
Have reliable transportation
Demonstrate strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Be able to work independently and take initiative
Having a smartphone or laptop will be advantageous.
Computer literacy (MS Office, Email, Internet) will also be an advantage.
