Full Job Description
Key Outputs
As a Learnership/Training Programme participant, your responsibilities will include:
-
Successfully completing all theoretical learning, practical training, and skills assessments.

Maintaining accurate records of experience, including logbooks, skills assessments, and training documentation.
-
Ensuring a safe working environment by following safety policies and procedures.
-
Demonstrating effective communication, good behaviour, and teamwork at all times.
-
Achieving set KPI’s and balanced scorecard targets.
-
Taking responsibility for self-management and performance ownership, including accurate reporting on completed tasks.
-
Operating and qualifying on specific component repair processes.
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements For Barloworld Equipment 2025 ApprenticeÂ
-
Grade 12 / N3 with Pure Mathematics.
-
Grade 12 / N3 with English (minimum 50% pass).
-
N3 / N4 with relevant theory in Motor, Diesel, or Electrical fields (advantageous).
-
Technician for the World Certificate (T4W) – advantageous.
-
Computer literacy – advantageous.
-
Familiarity with basic hand tools and their applications.
-
Previous experience working in a workshop or laboratory environment with hand tools will be an added advantage.

Basic knowledge and understanding of vehicle components and parts.

Willingness to work long hours, weekends, and overtime when required.
