Job Purpose

Otraco Southern Africa, a division of Bridgestone, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Office Administrator to manage day-to-day administrative and financial tasks. This role involves handling financial documents, maintaining office operations, coordinating travel, and providing secretarial support to ensure smooth site operations.

Key Responsibilities For The Bridgestone 2025 Learnership Program 

  • Compliance: Adhere to company and client policies, procedures, and instructions.

  • Financial Administration: Process, file, and maintain financial transaction documents accurately. Handle petty cash, banking reconciliations, and timesheet processing.

  • Client Service: Deliver professional communication and manage incoming messages effectively.

  • Office Management: Operate and maintain office equipment (fax, photocopier, shredder). Coordinate repairs, supplies, and cleaning services.

  • Secretarial Support: Perform typing, filing, photocopying, and data entry tasks.

  • Travel Coordination: Arrange bookings and travel for site personnel.

  • Health & Safety: Follow OHS procedures, use PPE, report hazards/incidents, and participate in safety meetings.


Qualifications & Requirements

Education:

  • Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate

  • Valid light vehicle driver’s license (Code 08 – South Africa)

Experience:

  • 0–1 year experience in an office environment

Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Basic computer literacy (MS Office, email, data entry)

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

  • Customer service orientation

  • Willingness to learn and take initiative

  • Basic problem-solving ability

  • Professionalism and confidentiality

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
