Are you passionate about engineering and eager to learn? COFCO is offering an exciting apprenticeship opportunity for motivated individuals to join our team as Fitter & Electrical Fitter Apprentices. This structured program provides hands-on experience, technical training, and mentorship to help you build a strong foundation in mechanical and electrical fitting and develop into a skilled Artisan. We are specifically looking to recruit Local Lekwa Youth.

Assist qualified Fitters and Electrical Fitters with maintenance, installation, and repair of machinery and equipment.

Learn to interpret technical drawings and schematics.

Participate in routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks.

Follow safety standards and company procedures at all times.

Attend theoretical and practical training sessions as required.
Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12 / Matric with Mathematics and Physical Science.

N2 Certificate or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (advantageous).

Pass internal competency tests.

Proof of residential address.

Preference given to South African youth under 35 years.
