 Key Responsibilities For The Continental 2025 Artisan Electrician

In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring operational excellence through your technical skills. Your tasks will include:

• Performing electrical and planned preventative maintenance on production machinery and infrastructure.

• Working rotational shifts, including weekends and overtime when required.

• Conducting fault finding and diagnostics on PLC systems such as Beckhoff, Siemens S5, and S7.

• Handling commissioning, repairs, and instrumentation work across the plant.

• Assisting with breakdown support throughout the facility.

• Participating actively in problem-solving initiatives to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.

• Providing input into spares procurement and inventory planning.

• Recording all maintenance work in SAP – PM accurately and thoroughly.

 Your Profile:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Red Seal Trade Test qualification as an Electrician.

• 3–5 years of relevant industrial maintenance experience.

• Experience with AC/DC drives, pneumatic systems, and minor project installations.

• Familiarity with electrical drawings and control system knowledge.

• Proficiency with PLC systems (Beckhoff, Siemens S5/S7).

• Good computer literacy (Windows, Microsoft Office).
