Key Responsibilities For The Cummins 2025 Learnership Program

Sales Support

  • Drive Strategic Insights: Consolidate and distribute sales reports to give leadership clear visibility into performance trends.

  • Strengthen Operational Integrity: Ensure compliance with sales quotes and invoices, safeguarding financial accuracy.

  • Champion Customer Satisfaction: Deliver excellent customer service, build loyalty, and maintain long-term relationships.

  • Transform Data into Action: Interpret data to identify patterns and opportunities to streamline operations or boost sales.

  • Support Workforce Management: Capture leave records and prepare monthly summaries to assist HR and team productivity.

  • Ensure Service Accountability: File job cards with signed PODs (Proof of Delivery) to confirm completed work.

  • Maintain Resource Efficiency: Issue consumables and manage inventory to reduce waste and prevent shortages.

  • Improve Product Lifecycle Management: Track and process product returns to resolve customer issues quickly.

General Administration

  • Streamline Financial Operations: Manage Purchase Order (PO) requests and resolve queries to ensure financial accuracy.

  • Safeguard Revenue Flow: Capture cash and EFT payments from the sales team to maintain transparent financial tracking.

  • Enhance Internal Communication: Set up boardrooms and distribute meeting minutes within 24 hours.

  • Optimize Resource Management: Monitor and control office supply usage.

  • Foster a Culture of Awareness: Keep notice boards updated with policies, safety messages, and HR communications.


Required Skills & Competencies

  • Adaptability: Ability to work across diverse environments, including admin, sales, fleet, and retail.

  • Strong Communication: Confident, clear communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders.

  • Attention to Detail: Accuracy in reporting, recordkeeping, and financial transactions.

  • Customer Service Orientation: Positive attitude and commitment to delivering excellent client experiences.

  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Matric Certificate / NQF Level 4 equivalent (required)

  • Prior customer service or admin experience (advantageous, but not essential)

  • Computer literacy and willingness to learn new systems

  • A positive, proactive attitude and eagerness to contribute to a growing team
