Are you a technically inclined individual with a passion for learning and working in an industrial environment? Join our Apprenticeship Programme 2025 and gain real-world electrical and mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting. This 12-month training programme is designed to provide apprentices with the skills, experience, and exposure needed to grow into successful technicians.


Key Responsibilities For The DANA 2025 Millwright Apprentice

As an Apprentice Technician, you will:

  • Participate in on-site preventive and corrective maintenance

  • Assist with electrical and mechanical repair work

  • Learn from experienced facilitators and mentors

  • Attend and complete all classroom-based and hands-on practical training

  • Be actively involved in technical problem-solving and tagging systems

  • Support equipment troubleshooting, diagnostics, and part replacement

  • Work in high-risk environments (heights, noise, dust)

  • Operate under shift schedules, including extended hours when required

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across operations and engineering


Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

  • N2 Technical Qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (minimum)

  • Matric with Mathematics, Physical Science & Technical Drawing (advantageous)

  • At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (advantageous)

  • Basic computer literacy (MS Office suite essential)

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision

  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)

  • Physically fit and able to work in demanding conditions
