Programme Overview
The Engineering Learnership Programme (18.2 – Unemployed) is a unique opportunity to:

Gain hands-on experience in the mining and engineering industry.

Expand your technical knowledge and practical skills.

Explore the world of engineering within mining while earning a nationally recognized Artisan qualification.

Participate in structured training, including off-the-job and workplace training.
Minimum Entry Requirements For The De Beers Group Engineering Learnership Programme
Candidates must have one of the following:
1. Matric / NSC:
-
Mathematics (not Math Literacy), Physical Science, and English (all ≥40%)
2. N2 or higher:
-
With all subjects as per trade requirements:
-
Boilermaker Plater: Plating & Structural Steelwork / Welders Theory / Plating Structural & Steelwork Drawings

Electrical: Electrical Trade Theory / Electrotechnology / Industrial Electronics / Engineering Drawings
-
3. NCV Level 4 in relevant trade:
-
All subjects passed with ≥40%
Other Requirements:

Applicants from host communities must include proof of residence stamped by tribal office or municipality.
