Minimum Requirements For The Econofoods 2025 Learnership Programme 

To qualify for the Econofoods Learnership, you must meet the following criteria:

• Grade 12 / Matric certificate (compulsory)

• Not currently studying or enrolled in another learnership or education programme

• Residing in one of the following provinces: Gauteng, Free State, or Eastern Cape

• Willingness to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays

• Able to travel to your allocated store location

• Willing to commit to the full 12-month learnership period

• Must be available to start on 01 August 2025

• Must be unemployed at the time of application
