 Job Purpose

Tsebo Facilities Solutions is actively seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician to join our dynamic technical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing and supervising daily electrical repairs, installations, and maintenance across the business unit. This includes planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance, all in compliance with relevant safety legislation and industry standards.

The role involves the installation, inspection, and repair of wiring systems, lighting fixtures, transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components essential to our operations. Candidates should demonstrate both technical expertise and leadership qualities, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and professionally.

 Key Responsibilities For The Electricians Jobs At Tsebo Group

• Carry out fault-finding, testing, and repairs on various electrical systems and equipment.

• Install and maintain electrical wiring, lighting systems, circuit breakers, and transformers.

• Execute tasks related to both planned preventative maintenance and emergency repairs.

• Supervise junior technicians when required, ensuring safety and quality standards.

• Maintain compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and Tsebo policies.

• Collaborate with subcontractors and internal teams to ensure operational efficiency.

• Report and document electrical work, including inspection results and repair logs.

 Minimum Qualifications & Requirements

• Matric / Grade 12

• 2-Year Electrical Diploma or Trade Test Certificate

• Valid Wireman’s License (compulsory)

• Minimum 3 years’ hands-on experience in electrical repairs and maintenance

• Supervisory experience is advantageous

• Proven experience in facilities or property management sectors is a plus

 Skills and Competencies

• Deep understanding of electrical systems and compliance regulations

• Ability to plan, prioritise, and manage tasks independently and within a team

• Strong communication skills to interact with teams, suppliers, and clients

• Time management skills and an ability to meet tight deadlines

• Knowledge of health and safety protocols in the technical maintenance environment

• Ability to motivate and guide junior staff when required
