This position plays a key role in ensuring that plant operations run smoothly and efficiently, minimizing downtime and maintaining high safety standards at all times.
Position Details:
The selected candidate will be expected to carry out a range of maintenance-related duties that contribute to the safe and efficient operation of the plant.
Responsibilities include performing preventative maintenance according to established schedules and procedures, as well as carrying out corrective maintenance when faults or breakdowns occur. The role also involves ensuring that all work is completed in compliance with plant safety regulations and maintenance standards.
In addition, the candidate will be required to attend meetings related to maintenance planning, safety, and operational updates. Maintaining a high level of awareness regarding equipment condition and personal safety is essential at all times.
The role also requires a proactive approach to identifying potential issues before they escalate, as well as ensuring proper care and handling of tools, equipment, and machinery.

The role requires candidates to possess strong communication skills, enabling them to effectively share information with team members and supervisors. Computer literacy is also important, as certain maintenance processes and reporting may be conducted digitally.
Supervisory skills are beneficial, particularly in situations where coordination of tasks or guidance of junior team members is required. A valid driver’s license is mandatory for this position.
Candidates will be assessed based on their ability to successfully complete required training and demonstrate competence in supervisory and communication skills. Possession of a valid driver’s license will also form part of the assessment process.
