About the Role
As an Aircraft Maintenance Intern, you will receive continuous mentorship from experienced Mechanical and Avionics Technicians. You will be exposed to a variety of aircraft models and will gain practical training in:

Diagnosing and troubleshooting aircraft malfunctions.

Assisting with disassembly, adjustments, and repairs of electrical and avionics systems.

Supporting Flight Line, Short Visit Maintenance, and Heavy Maintenance services.
-
Meeting aircraft on the taxi ramp and hangar locations, including fueling and de-fueling activities.
-
Documenting maintenance activities in line with aviation standards.
-
Operating ground power units and other aircraft service equipment.
-
Monitoring company service vehicles and maintaining ground support tools.
-
Adhering to aviation safety regulations and proper use of PPE.

Minimum Requirements For The FlySafair 2025 Engineering Apprentice
To be considered, applicants must meet the following requirements:

Grade 12 / Matric certificate or equivalent (Essential).

Completed a recognised Aviation Training course/qualification (Mechanical or Avionics) (Essential).

Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
