Programme Overview: Glencore Experiential Training P1 and P2

Applications are now open for candidates who require practical workplace experience to complete their National Diploma (S4) qualifications in:

• Mechanical Engineering

• Electrical Engineering

• Metallurgy

This structured 12-month experiential learning programme gives trainees hands-on experience in a professional mining environment to help them meet the requirements for diploma completion.

Minimum Requirements

To apply, candidates must:

• Have a completed Grade 12 (Matric)

• Be in possession of a National Diploma (S4) in one of the relevant disciplines

• Submit proof of residence in a local community near Glencore Coal Operations (preference will be given to local applicants)

• Meet the Employment Equity targets of the company

• Be available for the full 12-month training duration

Shortlisted applicants will undergo assessments and interviews as part of the selection process.
